If you are going to have a big build, having two construction workers will make it go faster. I don't put my miner and construction person together because I like to have one mining for reseources and one putting the building together. The reason being as I like to have at least one person dedicated to cutting blocks and one dedicated to researching. I wouldn't put your construction and miner together, nor your researcher and your crafter. Trader/Hauler/Cleaner - Social, Artistic, Crafting.Builder - Contructing, Mining, Crafting.Scientist - Medicine, Research, Crafting.So, for 6 colonists (non-mountain base) I would have these skills with high passion. Having more than one means they will all skill up slower, and you want a high skilled colonist to make better furniture. Constructors are very useful, but usually only one is worth while.Having a miner is really only useful on Mountain maps, and I would typically have at least two in that case.They are both typically high volume tasks, and do not suit being put on a single colonist. Make sure your Cook and your Grower are two separate colonists.Skill doesn't matter as they'll learn ridiculously fast if you dedicate them to it. Need someone with high passion in researching.Everyone should have fairly good crafting, or a high passion for it, because you'll end up doing a hell of a lot of it.If one gets ill, the others can heal them. Preferably, at least three fairly high medics.You can click on the name of the object and it brings a list vs having to click through 1 by 1. I never worry about art because I always seem to find an artist, always and besides wood and stone are always ever abundant and even a bad sculputre sells for near 100 most the time and they will always get better, art isn't necessary but if you can't figure out the 6th person.Ī little tip when selecting stories, traits, or what they are wearing.
